What Is Mirror Text?
Mirror text is writing flipped horizontally, so the letters appear backward and the words run in reverse. Hold it up to a mirror and it reads normally.
Leonardo da Vinci wrote entire notebooks in mirror text, possibly for privacy, or maybe just because he was left-handed and it came naturally.
These days, you can use mirror text for fun in social media posts, puzzles, bio names, secret messages, or wherever you'd like to confuse people for a second.
How Does Mirror Text Work?
The generator uses Unicode characters that are reversed or flipped versions of regular letters. Not every letter has a perfect mirror counterpart, so some are approximations. The result reads right-to-left and looks reversed, and you can copy and paste it into any text field.
